Welcoming residents and visitors alike, the Northport Omena Chamber of Commerce keeps the town looking lovely with planters in the business area and along the bridge over the creek. Here chamber board members Kristie Starzak Penning and Clare Gengarelly are pictured in snowy 2014 after completing the holiday decorations in the boxes on the bridge. They were assisted by Scott Cain and Lisa Drummond in putting the arrangements together while Phil Von Voightlander and Ben Walraven cut the greens off Phil's land and delivered them to the bridge. It takes three full trailer loads to fill these lovely planters!.
In summer the planters are filled with bright flowers and in fall with autumn mums.
