Learn about the importance of a prairie and the whys and hows of burning a prairie. The program is a joint effort of the Leelanau Township Fire Department, Saving Birds Thru Habitat and the Leelanau Conservancy. Refreshments will be served. The meeting takes place at the Leelanau Township Fire Hall, corner of Eighth and Mill Streets.
