Omena Historical Museum 2015 Summer Class Schedule
Are you interested in learning how to play the very popular game of Mah Jongg that originated in China in the 18th century and imported to the US in the 1920s? Peggy Rod will teach you the basics of this ancient game of skill, strategy, and calculation that involves a degree of chance; at the same time you will put your brain on full strength. The focus will be on tile recognition, strategy, rules, and lots of fun. Classes are small and designed to give attention to each person’s needs. Class meets three times.

Peggy Rod is a retired TCAPS elementary teacher. Her retirement activities still include teaching; now it is teaching adults to play Mah Jongg. She has enjoyed the game since 2000.
