A Northport tradition on Saturday, February 17th! The event runs from 11 a.m.to 4 p.m. Sponsored by the Northport-Omena Chamber of Commerce at the Braman Hill Recreational Area.

Included on the schedule of events are Northern Michigan’s only Broomball and Milk Jug Curling tournaments; the annual chili cook-off, which this year benefits the Northport National Art Honors Society, sleigh rides, GAGA (described as a cross between soccer and dodgeball) and the annual cardboard sled competition. Also planned is the second annual Treasure Chest drawing sponsored by area merchants.

Proceeds from the carnival go to Northport Public School, the Northport National Arts Honor Society and the Northport Omena Chamber of Commerce.
