Thursday Evening Authors (TEA): Fleda Brown
On Thursday, June 28, again at 7 p.m., beloved poet and essayist Fleda Brown of Traverse City will make a return visit to Northport. Poet laureate of Delaware from 2001 to 2007, Brown’s return to northern Michigan has been very much our gain. Returning also to Dog Ears Books, the poet will read from her latest collection, The Woods Are On Fire, and answer audience questions about the role of poetry in our lives today.
Dog Ears Books celebrates its 25th anniversary year with Thursday Evening Authors, TEA for short, a literary series to begin on June 21 and continue through August. Thursday guest authors will be at the bookstore from 7 to 9 p.m. on scheduled appearance dates.
