Northport Dog Parade 2023 “Canine Couture – A Doggie Fashion Show” Tails will be wagging for sure on Saturday, August 12th, when we all parade in our fur coats and costumes down the streets of Northport for the 26th year, under the theme of " Canine Couture - A Doggie Fashion Show." Since 1997 our four-legged friends have had their day in the spotlight every summer and we've decided that 2023 will showcase our fashionable four-legged fur babies in royal style!

We hope this event will bring a lot of people into Northport and our local businesses. We will see a very busy day. We are looking for sponsors and donations to cover expenses for the dog parade and allow us to, once again, make significant donations to local animal shelters and caregivers. We appreciate whatever donation your family or business can contribute.

Sponsorship suggestions:

Best in Show - $200 At this level of sponsorship sponsors will receive a free parade T-shirt, a place for their name/logo on the Dog Parade banner, and a mention on the Annual Northport Dog Parade Facebook page. You will also have a spot in the parade if you choose to participate.

Best in Breed - $100 This level receives your name/logo on the banner.

We will also accept and appreciate donations of gift certificates to be used as prizes for exceptional pooches!

Please make checks out to NOCOC and note "Dog Parade". Checks can be mailed to Pennington, PO Box 157, Northport MI 49670, or dropped off at Pennington. You may also get a visit from a dog parade committee member to collect donations and answer any questions about the event.

To be included in print donations and information must be received by July 14th, 2023. Proceeds from the parade are donated to local animal rescue and shelter organizations, including Cherryland Humane Society, The Fisher Fund, and the Great Lakes Humane Society.
